“I’ve had the most delicious food (twice) from this fab little spot. Next level Samoosas and authentic, flavoursome curries. Definitely worth a try”

Coffee, food
& good mood.
Café Roastique is the latest chapter of a kitchen that started small — now a full café at The Village Gate, serving coffee and café classics alongside the Indian delicacies that started it all.
It's grown into Hout Bay's largest menu under one roof — a single kitchen where every age and every craving is catered for, from the littlest ones to the grandparents.
Coffee isn't just a drink here — it's a mood, a moment, and a reason to slow down.
— Café RoastiqueOur kitchen covers all cravings.
Café Roastique brings together a proper coffee bar — espresso, hand-pulled milkshakes, fresh juices — with a full café kitchen covering breakfast, salads, toasties, wraps and burgers.
And running straight through the middle of it: the Indian delicacies, biryani and bunny chow this kitchen was built on. Butter chicken and a flat white, on the same table — that's the whole idea.
